Дипломат - профессия уникальная. Задача дипломата состоит в защите и представлении интересов своей страны на международной арене. Представлять интересы своей страны, находясь в дали от родины, в иностранном государстве - дело непростое и ответственное. Дипломат одна из сложных, но интересных на мой взгляд специальность. Эта профессия существует с древних времен. Благодаря дипломатам удавалось избежать кровопролитных воин, заключать новый дружественный союз с другими государствами, что актуально и сейчас, в наше, казалось бы, мирное время.
Человек решивший выбрать путь дипломата, должен обладать как личностными, так и профессиональными качествами. Личностные качества это, те качества, которые заложены в человеке с рождения или сложившиеся в процессе воспитания. Собственное мнение независящее от других, обаяние, отзывчивость, общительность, трудолюбие, стремление постоянно учиться чему-то новому, лидерство, все это можно считать за основу личностных качеств дипломата. Говоря о профессиональных навыках, мы говорим о том, чему можем научиться в процессе обучения, или уже будучи дипломатами. К ним можно отнести такие навыки как, умение вести переговоры, наблюдение, анализ, управление, организация и др. Однако просто наличие этих качеств не дает гарантии на успешную карьеру дипломата. Что бы стать первоклассным специалистом в этой сфере деятельности, нужно не только наличие этих навыков, но и правильное их применение.
Как и в любой другой профессии, в работе дипломата тоже есть свои минусы и плюсы. Минусов, по моему мнению мало, однако они очень весомы. Одним из главных минусов является небезопасность. Сам путь к освоению профессии очень долгий и трудный. Не говоря уже о самой работе, которая требует большой ответственности. Плюсов в данной профессии очень много. Наиболее интересные плюсы — это общение с интересными людьми, престиж, загадочность, интересность и другие.

склонностями.». Именно по этому принципу я и выбрал себе эту профессию. Я решил стать дипломатом, потому что это интересно для меня. Таинственность и привлекательность этой профессии заинтересовали меня. Я думаю это, то самое чем я хотел бы заниматься. В будущем я планирую представлять интересы нашей страны в восточноазиатском регионе. И я уверен, что справлюсь с этой профессией не смотря ни на что.
Ожидания от обучения в университете у меня большие. Больше всего я ожидаю то, что нас, будущих дипломатов, поближе познакомят с выбранной нами профессией, расскажут какие-либо секреты специальности, ее тонкости. Дадут возможность выучить язык, по ближе познакомят с культурой, той страны в которой хотелось бы работать в качестве дипломата. Участие в различных тематических форумах, встреч, мероприятий. Так же надеюсь на встречу с дипломатами нашей и зарубежных стран, где мы сможем задать им пару-тройку вопросов. Было бы неплохо посетить Белый Дом, штаб ООН, посольства различных государств, находящиеся в нашей стране. А на более старших курсах, возможность стажировке в качестве дипломата.
Подводя итоги хочется сказать, неважно с какой профессией ты решил(а) связать свою жизнь, главное, чтобы она была тебе интересна. Я сделал свой выбор на профессии дипломата. И не смотря на все трудности, я не сдамся и буду продолжать заниматься любимым делом. В наше время большое количество профессий, и все они хороши. Но для меня профессия дипломата является лучшей. Я не жалею, что выбрал ее. Закончить свое эссе хотелось бы словами Де Ниро Р. – американский актер: «В том, что касается будущего, я повторяю одно: за что бы вы ни взялись, главное — будьте преданны своему делу до конца.
