Лох-Несс большое глубокое пресноводное озеро в Шотландии. Лох-Несс занимает второе место по площади среди озёр Шотландии. При этом по объёму воды оно занимает первое место, так как глубже других озёр.
Озеро широко известно в мире благодаря легенде о Лох-Несском чудовище. Существуют многочисленные маршруты по озеру. На берегу озера есть музей Лох-Несского чудовища.
По преданию, первыми, кто поведал миру о таинственном существе были римские легионеры. В 1932 году некая мисс МакДональд утверждала, что видела существо, пробиравшееся по отмели к озеру.
