Международные Стандарты разрабатываются в соответствии с правилами, установленными в
Директивах ISO/IEC, Часть 2.
Основной задачей объединенного технического комитета является подготовка Международных
Стандартов. Проекты Международных стандартов рассылаются национальным органам на
голосование. Их опубликование в качестве Международных стандартов требует одобрения по
меньшей мере 75 % национальных органов, принимающих участие в голосовании.
Обращается внимание на то, что некоторые элементы настоящего документа могут быть
предметами патентных прав. ISO не могут считаться ответственными за необнаружение любых
или всех существующих патентных прав.
ISO/IEC 15289 был подготовлен Объединенным Техническим Комитетом ISO/IEC JTC 1,
Информационные технологии, Подкомитетом SC 7, Проектирование программного обеспечения
и систем.
Данный Международный Стандарт базируется на ISO/IEC 12207:1995, с Поправками 1 и 2, ISO/IEC
15288:2002, и IEEE/EIA 12207.1-1996, Промышленное применение ISO/IEC 12207:1995.
Компьютерное общество IEEE (Институт инженеров электротехники и электроники) участвовало как
посредническая организация при разработке данного Международного Стандарта.
