whether a student should participate in decisions related to the university, where he is studying?
quite a complex question, because the question can be viewed at
different angles.
To begin with I want to say that for every high school student means a lot,
because he spends a lot of time in it. Not for nothing they say, "for high school students is
a second home." For many people, the student's time is the best period in
life. At university you get the knowledge you need in the future,
you make friends, learn about the world a lot and most importantly you can "find yourself." I
think a lot of students want to participate in the life of the university's why.
During his student years at the person, as a rule, it is the main development of the individual,
and for the development of the freedom it needs, and so many of us aspire to democracy.
Municipality in vuze- is a small version of democracy. In the process of participation in the
self-government of the students acquired practical skills in creative
management activities, and is the establishment of a culture of responsibility.
In the process of self-government student acquires a sense of ownership of the university life
and society, skills staging socially significant goals, planning their
achievements and implementation in practice. Moreover, the actual
current student government allows the company to gain momentum for
further development.
On the other hand a young and inexperienced student can not take important
university decisions. It does not have the relevant skills and knowledge to manage. People
tend to make mistakes, but the older a person becomes, the less it
is wrong.
To summarize, I can say that for the effective work of the university is necessary
trade-off government should work with the administration on the
relationship between partners, rather than subordinates.
