В 1921 году в США была создана Национальная боксерская ассоциация, которая в 1962 году вышла на международный уровень и сменила название на WBA. В следующем, 1963 году, была основана еще одна международная организация WBC (всемирный боксерский совет). Внутри WBA вскоре возникли разногласия и в 1976 году была создана еще одна организация с 1984 года называющаяся IBF. Также, большим авторитетом в мире пользуется Всемирная боксерская организация - WBO. Эти четыре сообщества и задают тон в современном профессиональном боксе.

The following year, 1963, was founded by another international organization WBC (World Boxing Council). Inside the WBA soon differences arose and in 1976 was established another organization from 1984 onwards known as IBF. Also, great prestige in the world enjoys world boxing organization WBO. These four community and set the tone in a modern professional boxing.
