CAT (Combat-Application-Tourniquet) Generation 6 – специализированный жгут для остановки жизнеугрожающих кровотечений, который на данный момент является самым распространенным средством для проведения окклюзии магистральных артерий. Особенность конструкции позволяет использовать турникет одной рукой. Удобная липучка-фиксатор дает возможность наложить жгут на плечобедро вне зависимости от объемов мышечного массива. Для удобства использования в условиях слабой видимости, начало застежки выделено ярко-красным цветом. Универсальная закрутка позволяет без лишнего давления остановить кровотечение и, при необходимости, ослабить компрессию на данном участке. Скобы-фиксаторы позволяют закрепить стержень закрутки таким образом, чтобы не допустить расслабления жгута. Транспортный маячок белого цвета играет роль крепления к скобам, и является местом фиксирования времени наложения жгута. Жгут CAT состоит на вооружении армии США и многих частных военных компаний.
