Дисциплина «Менеджмент» логической последовательности рассматривает методологические, социально-экономические и психологические аспекты управления на микроуровне.
Основными элементами, участвующими в процессе управления является коммуникации, управленческие решения, функции планирования, организации, мотивации, контроля. Методы активного обучения студента по данной дисциплине: имитационные (анализ ситуации, упражнения), игровые (деловая игра, разыгрывание ролей, игровое проектирование), неимитационные (практическое занятие, проблемная лекция, тематическая дискуссия, научная конференция, курсовая или дипломная работа).
Менеджмент рассматривается как особой вид управления, необходимый экономически самостоятельному звену производства в рыночной экономике и представляющий собой систему гибкого, предприимчивого экономического управления, способного четко реагировать на конъюнктуру рынка.
