На территории парка на месте дома, где Я. Купала жил в 1929-1941 гг. , расположился музей поэта (1959). Сам дом сгорел во времена войны вместе с многочисленными рукописями поэта. Сегодня в музее можно найти около 36 тысяч книжных изданий, в том числе и рукописей Купалы, книги с его автографами. Также в доме представлены многочисленные фотоснимки поэта, предметы быта и документы из его жизни.
В центре парка расположился фонтан со скульптурной композицией «Купалле» по мотивам древнего народного праздника, отображающий девушек с венками (отсюда и народное название фонтана — «Венок»). В 1972 году его реконструировали к празднованию 90-летия поэта. Центральным элементом паркового дизайна является памятник поэту, спроектированный скульпторами Аникейчиком, Гумилевским и Заспицким и архитекторами Левиным и Градовым.
В настоящий момент парк является одним из любимых мест отдыха жителей столицы. Посещение парка входит во многие экскурсии, как важная достопримечательность города.
