As you know, one of the most effective means of organizing the learning process with the use of modern information and communication technologies is an electronic textbook.
The advantages of e-books, in our opinion, are: firstly, high mobility, and secondly, the availability of a wide range of users in computer networks, Thirdly, the adequacy of the current level of scientific knowledge. Creation of electronic textbooks effectively solves the problem of constant updating of information and didactic material. It may contain a large number of exercises and examples illustrated in detail the dynamics of changes of objects. In addition, the electronic book may include knowledge of controls - computer testing.
Indispensable electronic textbooks and for the organization of independent work of students, as they are: facilitate the perception and understanding of the material being studied, based on new ways of presenting the material: an inductive approach, the impact on the auditory and emotional memory etc.; allow adaptation to the needs of the learner, the level of preparation, intellectual capacities and aspirations; provide ample opportunities for self-control at all stages of learning.
All this determines the need for teaching students the creation of electronic textbooks by various software tools.

The electronic textbook - a textbook realized in electronic form using computer means of training and control of knowledge of students.
Tools for creating electronic textbooks can be divided into groups based on complex criteria, taking into account the purpose and functions, requirements for the maintenance and features of use. In accordance with this criterion include the following classes:
• the traditional algorithmic languages;
• General purpose tools;
• multimedia tools;

1. Setting goals and development objectives.
2. The development of the electronic textbook structure.
3. Developing content sections and topics of the textbook.
