Альянс подтягивает к Сирии подкрепления под предлогом борьбы с террористами.
Завершившееся в Брюсселе двухдневное совещание глав МИД 28 стран - членов НАТО показало: альянс не намерен снижать "градус напряженности" в отношениях с Россией и предпринимает масштабные усилия для защиты "союзнической" Турции.
Генсек НАТО Йенс Столтенберг вчера заявил о том, что блок планирует создать коалицию для борьбы с экстремистами и развернуть дополнительные силы в Турции. О своем намерении отправить 1200 солдат для борьбы с ИГИЛ объявило немецкое руководство. Свои корабли в зону конфликта может направить Дания. О решении присоединиться к французам вот-вот будет официально объявлено и на Даунинг-стрит. По крайней мере, вчера британские парламентарии, несмотря на многотысячные протестные демонстрации в Лондоне, проголосовали за присоединение британских ВВС к военной операции против ИГИЛ.

Как ранее отметил российский постпред при НАТО Александр Грушко, Анкара, "прикрывшись пресловутой союзнической солидарностью, вынудила альянс оправдывать свои противоправные действия, которые не только подрывают общие усилия в борьбе с боевиками, но и создали риски для безопасности стран, связанных с Турцией союзническими обязательствами".
