Цевье передает вращательный момент непосредственно на жернов, уже в верхнее помещение, где расположен мукомольный механизм с бункером для засыпки зерна. Здесь посетителей встречает деревянная скульптура "кухара" (так в Кенозерье называли мельников), архивные фотографии жителей деревни, иллюстрирующие основные земледельческие традиции, и прочая инфографика, касающаяся работы водяных мельниц.
