Социальное влияние на индивида может осуществляться не только большинством членов группы, но и меньшинством.
Меньшинство - это та часть группы, которая имеет меньше возможности влияния (статус, власть), и не всегда представлены меньшим количеством членов группы.
Условия влияния меньшинства на группу:
- Последовательность в отстаивании своих позиций (гибкость в решении);
- Уверенность в себе и своей позиции (делает неуверенной большинство);
- Наличие «отступников» со стороны большинства (они более эффективны, чем другие).
Важной стороной проблемы формирования и развития малой группы является проблема групповой сплоченности.
Групповая сплоченность - это процесс формирования особого типа связей в группе, позволяющие снаружи заданную структуру превратить в психологическую общность, в системный психологический организм, живущий по своим законам.
Процесс формирования группы и ее дальнейшего развития представлен как процесс еще большей сплоченности на основе включения индивидов в процесс совместной деятельности.
