Опыты проведены на 113 белых крысах-самцах массой около 200 г, перенесших 12-ти минутное прекращение кровообращения в организме по методу В.Г. Корпачева и соавт.(3). Исследование проведено с использованием 4 групп животных. С началом стандартной сердечно-легочной реанимации одной группе животных вводили мексидол в дозе 50 мг/кг, другой группе крыс через 30 мин после успешной сердечно-легочной реанимации на фоне мексидола дополнительно однократно вводили киоторфин интерназально в дозе 0,05 мг/кг. На ранних этапах постреанимационного периода изучали восстановление жизненных функций животных, оценивали темпы убытия неврологического дефицита и гибель животных в ближайшие 2 недели. Для оценки эффективности терапии на 7-е сутки после оживления проводили гистологическое исследование гиппокампа у интактной группы животных и реанимированных крыс разных групп (по 3-4 крысы в каждой группе). С помощью морфометрического анализа оценивали плотность и состав нейрональных популяций пирамидных клеток СА1 и СА4 гиппокампа. Особенности поведения животных исследовали в ряде тестов в течение 4 мес. В постреанимационном периоде после однократного введения мексидола отмечалось более быстрое восстановление роговичного рефлекса и уменьшение неврологического дефицита на 1-е сутки по сравнению с реанимированными животными с введением плацебо. На 5-е сутки в опытной группе с мексидолом отмечалось достоверно большее количество животных с исчезновением НД.
