Джон Рональд Руэл Толкин – известный английский писатель в стиле «высокого фэнтези», поэт, профессор Оксфордского университета(специалист по средневековому английскому языку и литературе). Толкин создал удивительный и уникальный мир Среднеземья, где и происходит действие эпопеи, повествование которой начинается с описываемой мною книги. «Хоббит, или Туда и обратно» — с этим произведением Толкин вошел в мировую литературу. Создание этой повести начиналось с волшебной сказки, сочиненной для детей. Позднее автор так увлекся, что даже нарисовал карты Среднеземья и Шира(что безусловно дополняет его работу). И вот сегодня эту книгу читают с увлечением и дети, и взрослые. С первых строк с головой погружаешься в атмосферу мирного существования населения Шира – маленьких хоббитов. Наш герой — весьма состоятельный хоббит по фамилии Бэггинс. Бильбо Бэггинс. Однажды утром он стоял в дверях своей норы и курил трубку. И тут появляется Гэндальф…
Мудрый волшебник Гэндальф (который всегда появляется в свое время) вовлекает Бильбо в нежданный поход с гномами к Одинокой Горе. Привыкшему к удобствам своей благоустроенной норы юному хоббиту было тяжело влиться в компанию гномов, которые всю жизнь провели в скитаниях. Но у него всегда присутствовал скрытый дух приключений и постепенно он свыкся с лишениями ради своих спутников, не имевших в данное время собственного теплого угла. Опасные приключения, непростые отношения с другими расами, безвыходность положений делают произведение поистине захватывающим: от него невозможно оторваться. Но в тучах всегда есть просвет. Так и здесь друзья всегда приходят на помощь, хотя не обошлось без драматичного момента. Произведение заставляет взглянуть на жизнь и на себя самого по-новому: может ты где то себя недооценивал(как главный герой) или не замечал каких-то мелочей. Эмоции переполняют тебя в процессе чтения. Порой сочувствуешь героям в морально сложных ситуациях, порой тебя переполняет простое чувство доброты и спокойствия, но местами ты просто напрягаешься с макушки до пят. Книга порадует вас необычностью сюжета и героев, неповторимой атмосферой и легкостью прочтения. Кого-то научит мудрости и смелости, кого-то подвигнет совершить свое нежданное путешествие, и совсем неизвестно куда заведут тебя ноги и как это отразится на всеобщей истории…
