В 2002 «Вимм-Билль-Данн» стал первой отечественной пищевой компанией, разместившей свои акции на Нью-Йоркской фондовой бирже (NYSE). Первичное размещение акций принесло компании 200 млн. долларов США.

В 2003 году «Вимм-Билль-Данн» приобретает «Ессентукский завод минеральных вод» и начинает выпускать «Ессентуки» №4 и №17 под собственной торговой маркой. В этом же году в городе Рубцовск Алтайского края запущено производства сыра «Ламбер», первого отечественного жёлтого сыра, успешно конкурирующего с импортной продукцией в категории жёлтых сыров. Параллельно с этим в Москве начинается производство функционального молочного напитка Imunele. В последствие в продуктовую линейку этого бренда вошли Imunele for Men и Imunele for Kids.
