В Казахстане отмечается низкий уровень качества предоставления медицинских услуг в государственных клиниках. Недостаточная квалификация врачей, острый дефицит кадров, низкая оплата их труда вынуждает граждан обращаться в частные медицинские центры. Согласно проведенному в 2012 году опросу каждый второй житель страны обращается в такие центры за медицинской помощью. Кроме того, с 2017 года в Казахстане планируется введение обязательного медицинского страхования, что даст возможность доступа граждан к получению медицинской помощи в частных клиниках.

In Kazakhstan, the low level of quality in the provision of medical services at public hospitals. Underqualified doctors, personnel shortages, low wages forcing citizens to apply to the private medical centers. According to a poll by the year 2012 every second inhabitant of the country is drawn in such centres for medical help. In addition, with the year 2017 in Kazakhstan is planned the introduction of compulsory health insurance, which will enable the access of citizens to obtain health care in private clinics.
