"YOU LOVE CHILDREN OR THE GOOD...": "THE REAL HERO" DOSTOY AND FIRST LOVE" TURGENEV<br> The article explores the controversy between I.S. Turgenev and F.M. Dostoyevsky about the problem of romanticism. At the center of this controversy is the figure of V.G. Belinsky, whose aesthetic views were reinterpreted by Dostoevsky in "The Little Hero", formerly called "Children's Tale". The writer in the 1840s was heavily influenced by the critic's ideas, including his judgments on the tasks of children's literature and the upbringing of children. "Little Hero" is a romantic story about first love and is filled with echoes with Belinsky's statements, which were directed against "Shiller's love" and "Shiller romanticism", against the poeticism of the chivalrous feeling. All these intonations were reflected in "Little Hero." Moreover, the "rival" of a young lover of Dostoevsky turns out to be a character, prototypical close to the famous criticism, which, among other facts, points in fact to Dostoevsky's polemical vector in relation to Belinsky in this his Story. "Children's Tale" was for him a farewell to the period of his work, which was associated with Belinsky. The story went almost unnoticed by critics, but attracted the attention of Turgenev, who, no doubt, heard all the echoes with Belinsky. Hence the almost direct follow-up, in detail, to Dostoevsky in his novel "First Love", which is not too time less than "Little Hero". Reflections of The Hero Turgenev from "First Love" are also similar to Belinsky's, especially when they relate to the drama of the first sense. However, it is Turgenev's heroine who broadcasts Belinsky's judgments, which are distinguished by the depth of understanding of realism, when it comes to the beauty of true poetry, in which sometimes more life than in reality itself. The romantic element in Turgenev's realism, after Belinsky, always recognized, and in this case polemicically responded to Dostoevsky's criticism of their general teacher.
