В статье рассматриваются вопросы создания одного из видов электронного образовательного ресурса web-учебника, дается определение электронного учебника, приводятся его основные достоинства. Рассмотрены виды электронных учебников, их структура и содержание, особенности педагогического воздействия на обучаемых в процессе применения в образовательном процессе, преимущество компьютерного обучения по сравнению с традиционным, а также негативные стороны использования дистанционных компьютерных средств обучения.
