Недавно принят более жесткий закон, который предусматривает уголовную ответственность и серьезные тюремные сроки за "умышленные действия, совершенные с целью изменения границ территории или государственной границы Украины в нарушение порядка, установленного Конституцией Украины, а также за публичные призывы или распространение материалов с призывами к совершению таких действий". За шпионаж также ужесточили наказание.
