Я, Джим Харисон однажды меня свела судьба с человеком который рассказал мне свою историю. Его звали Френк. Он был одним из не многих выживших после аварии поезда. Авария забрала жизни самых близких ему людей. И в корни изменила его жизнь. За весь период своего ничтожного существования я собирал все возможные факты об этой катастрофе, но так и не приблизился к разгадке. Поэтому, в последние дни своей жизни решил поделится собранной информацией, - чувствую близок мой конец. Дай Бог найдется мой единомышленник и эта информация поможет найти ключ к разгадке аварии.
Так и неизвестно было ли это несчастным случаем или спланированным терактом. Авария поезда произошла как раз перед солнечной вспышкой, поэтому про нее известно очень мало. По обрывкам информации это был ничем не примечательный грузопассажирский поезд. Направлялся он в какой-то город, на руинах которого сейчас стоит Кимари. Вроде как обычный поезд, обычный маршрут, но были некие не стыковки, которые заставляют задуматься. Есть информация, что некоторые грузовые вагоны были опечатаны и находились под охраной. После аварии поезда расследования особо не проводилось. Ну как говорится, земля слухами помнится. И обрывки информации и слухов сложились в общую картину. На самом деле, это поезд знаменовался определенными событиями. Одним из которых было то, что в составе обычного поезда было два военных вагона. Это были вагоны то ли с биологическим оружием, то ли с экспериментальными препаратами. В общем на них была наклейка “Biohazad”. А вторым событием, то что на поезде ехал еще один интересный персонаж. Он был подозрителен тем, что снял грузовой вагон, вместо пассажирского купе и с ним была большая клетка, закрытая со всех сторон, черными ставнями. На ней были отверстия для воздуха и наклейка “экзотические животные”, что напрочь отбивало желания досматривать ее. Тем более при себе этот тип имел подтверждающий документ. В котором шла речь о том, что досматривать, вскрывать ящик запрещено, потому как в нем находится экспериментальный объект. Сам Бог знает, что там могли провозить. И что именно послужило причиной катастрофы так и не стало мне известно.

И Рику удалось завоевать доверие и уважение у всех ее членов, своей дикостью и готовностью сразится с кем бы то ни было. Со временем он сколотил свою банду отморозков. Это была небольшая, но самая бесшабашная банда хулиганов. Они желали легких денег. Занимались мелкими грабежами местных лавок, затем совершали налеты на караваны. А чуть позже и вовсе стали вымогать проценты с местных фермеров и торгашей.
Младший же брат был полной противоположностью. Его звали Декс. С детства он был предоставлен на воспитание Рику. Тот везде таскал младшего брата за собой и считал себя ответственным за его жизнь и воспитание. Всегда давал в морду обидчику младшего брата и все происходило без каких-либо там разбирательств.
