По большей части, съемки образцового "Догма"-продукта протекают так. Режиссер находит какой-нибудь дом, желательно в сельской местности, и организует захват этого помещения съемочной группой. Киношники переезжают туда со всеми орудиями своего ремесла и полевой кухней. Там они живут, там репетируют, там и снимают. Получается что-то вроде коммуны хиппи. Несколько недель, проведенных вместе, превращаются в спонтанный, неостановимый хэппенинг. Исполнители бродят по дому и на пленэре, бормочут свои реплики, а за ними бегает оператор, изнывающий под тяжестью кинокамеры. Актеры без удержу веселятся и импровизируют, но, что характерно, в процессе монтажа (от которого, естественно, тоже никто не отказывается) эти вольные импровизации остаются за кадром. Режиссер, который все время тушевался на обочине творческого процесса, здесь вступает в свои права и добивается главного эффекта "Догма"-кино - предельной естественности изображения.
