Операцию необходимо сделать как можно скорее. Каждый день промедления уменьшает шансы на то, что ребёнок сможет слышать и научиться говорить. Но это не самое страшное. Глухота – это ещё опасная и тяжёлая социальная проблема. Ребёнок может отставать в развитии, он будет лишён общения с родителями и окружающими, но самое страшное он может не услышать приближающуюся опасность, способную лишить его жизни.
