В американском госпитале Генри оказывается первым больным. Заведующая мисс Ван-Кампен не нравится Генри, а он, в свою очередь, не нравится ей. Поначалу за Генри ухаживает мисс Гейдж и старая мисс Уокер, затем приезжает Кэтрин. Как только герой видит её, то сразу же понимает: он влюблён!
