что я могу предложить:
1. часть PNG-масок реально одинаковые, их можно оптимизировать, т.е. сохранять только уникальные маски и ссылаться на них, но это будет новый формат c перекодировкой всех моделей
2. вариант оптимизации JPG - закрашиваем ненужные области через маску - это уменьшит вес и избавляет нас от артефактов "белых граней", этот вариант можно сделать в формате v042, а перекодировка - по вашему желанию
3. я также предлагаю использовать 3d:
