As for me, I am a fresher, that is, a first-year student of the Institute______________.
My major is ______________. I passed all the State Exams successfully and was admitted to the University. (I live in one of the university hostels, which is rather convenient for living, doing my homework and reading for exams.) I do my best to get only good and excellent marks.
During our first days at the University the Dean of our Institute, our tutor and the teachers informed us about the system of learning, the subjects we are to study, the lectures and seminars we have to attend. Now we have three or four periods a day, we study six days a week. Academic year lasts for ten months. Each term is followed by a session period, during which we have to present our course-papers, pass credit tests and take various exams.
