Crime and its causes can be studied at the individual, group and social levels. Consequently, they may be given a psychological, sociological and philosophical explanations. These explanations are not contradictory, but complement one another, allowing you to analyze the causes of crime from different angles.
Considering this the problem at the individual level, it is possible to designate the causes of crime as a conflict of human behavior with the social environment.
When a person is in a difficult situation, it is often not the solution of the problems and chooses a criminal path.
But the question naturally arises: why personality is formed in such a way? And why there are problematic situations that a person faced with a difficult choice? The answer to these questions is impossible, if not refer to the study of modern society. It is clear that as the causes of crime are the social and economic, political, and spiritual factors that are closely related to each other.
The circumstances that lead to criminal behavior considered antisocial behavior of parents, alcoholism, nervous and mental illnesses of parents, low cultural level of the family.
The negative personality characteristics and behaviors are: previous convictions, committing illegal acts; negative attitude towards moral values, violence and revenge, drunkenness, drug abuse, gambling.
So, it is easy to conclude that the crime occurs on the basis of the interaction between the individual and the social environment.
