История медицинского факультета РУД

История медицинского факультета РУДН началась еще в 1961 году . 50 лет назад большая часть кафедр университета располагалась в 1-м медицинском институте имени Сеченова. В 1-м наборе факультета было всего 7 групп по 15 человек в каждой из них. Иностранных студентов было большинство, советских студента 1 или 2 в группе. В первом выпуске врачей был Дмитрий Петрович Билибин: он прошел путь в университете от А до Я; в 1973 году он возглавил медицинский факультет, а с 1998 по 2005 был сначала исполняющим обязанности ректора, а затем ректором РУДН.
Сейчас на факультете есть 4 специальности : Лечебное дело , Стоматология, Фармация и Сестринское дело.
Из 10 факультетов в РУДН, медицинский является одним из самых больших; работают 43 кафедры и 2 самостоятельных курса, обучается более 2300 студентов
