В 2000-2002 гг. - директор Вологодского областного центра медицины катастроф.
С 2003 года работает в Ярославском государственном медицинском университете: старшим преподавателем кафедры общей гигиены (2003 -2006 гг.), преподавателем кафедры ОМО в ЧС (2006-2013 гг., в настоящее время - кафедра МПЗ и МК).
Награжден двенадцатью медалями Вооруженных Сил СССР и РФ.
