Biography
Born on February 11, 1930 in the village of Hmelёvka Shepetivka district, Kamenetz-Podolsk (from 1954 to the present time - Khmelnitsky) region of Ukraine in the family of an employee.
At the beginning of the war, he only moved to the sixth grade of school № 4 of Shepetovka, but the first days of the war began to fight with the German occupiers. In autumn 1941, together with his comrades killed the head of the gendarmerie field near the town of Shepetovka, throwing a grenade at a car in which he was riding. Since 1942, he took an active part in the guerrilla movement in the territory of Ukraine. First it was connected Shepetovka underground organization, then participated in the battle. From August 1943 - in the name of partisan Karmelyuka commanded IA Muzalёva, was wounded twice. In October 1943, he discovered an underground telephone cable, which was soon undermined, and communications invaders from Hitler's headquarters in Warsaw stopped. Also contributed to the undermining of the six trains and warehouses.
October 29, 1943, while on patrol, noticed punitive, going to have a roundup of the squad. After killing the officer, he raised the alarm; by his actions, the guerrillas managed to repulse the enemy.
In the battle for the city Izyaslav February 16, 1944, was mortally wounded and died the next day. Buried in the middle of the park of the city Shepetovka. In 1958, Valentina was posthumously awarded the title Hero of the Soviet Union.
