Сто лет назад, в начале XX века, сценическое искусство жило предчувствием перемен. Эти перемены стали столь яркими, что понять современный театр, не зная их сути, сложно. Специально для читателей ИА «Диалог» в Санкт-Петербургском музее театрального и музыкального искусства подготовили краткий экскурс в историю отечественного театра рубежа веков.
«Серебряный век» в русском театре ознаменован появлением режиссуры, принципиально изменившей облик спектакля: впервые он стал художественным целым, организуемым мастерством и умением режиссера. Отныне режиссер претендует на то, чтобы называться автором спектакля. Он смотрит на пьесу через призму своего взгляда на мир – в этом сущность профессии. Актерская игра, сценографическое решение, драматургическая основа, музыка – всё теперь должно работать на общий замысел. Первым режиссерским театром в России стал Художественный театр, созданный Константином Сергеевичем Станиславским и Владимиром Ивановичем Немировичем-Данченко в 1889 году. По мировым меркам это было довольно поздно: становление режиссерского театра начинается в Европе в середине XIX века. То, что западный театр прошел за 50 лет, российскому пришлось наверстывать меньше, чем за десятилетие. Но к 1907 году отечественный театр становится своеобразным лидером европейского театрального процесса.
