Во многих странах типична ситуация, когда человек помещает своего пожилого родственника в дом для престарелых. Многие американцы считают это позором, когда хорошо обеспеченная семья привозит свою мать или своего отца в дом для престарелых. Другие, наоборот, видят в этом проявление независимости типичной для американцев. В восточных странах нет домов престарелых, потому что в этих странах такая культура и воспитание. Они считает, что оставлять родителей одних это большой позор для всей семьи. А в России ситуация похожа с США. Как правило, в дома престарелых помещаются пожилые люди, не имеющие близких родственников, или , не поддерживающие с ними связь. Но все же есть люди, которые сами помещают своих родителей в дом престарелых. Я считаю, что дети не должны так поступать с родителями, ведь родители дали им жизнь и вырастили их. Поэтому взамен дети должны сами ухаживать за своими родителями, когда они постареют. Но также я считаю, что дома для престарелых должны быть, чтобы пожилые у которых совсем нет родственников могли быть там, ведь самим им трудно ухаживать за собой.
