Я живу в новом микрорайоне. Это далеко от центра города, но близко от магазинов и метро. Наша квартира на шестом этаже высотного дома. Квартира большая, с хорошей планировкой. В нашей квартире 3 комнаты, кухня, прихожая. У меня есть своя комната. Она не большая, но и не маленькая. В ней не много мебели, только самые необходимые предметы. У окна - письменный стол с несколькими ящиками для учебников, тетрадей, блокнотов. Справа на столе - настольная лампа. Направо от письменного стола - книжный шкаф, полный разных книг. Среди них много английский в оригинале и в переводе. Около книжного шкафа - торшер и диван-кровать, а также тумбочка, на которой стоит будильник и небольшая ваза с цветами. На противоположной стене - картина, которую мой друг - художник подарил мне в прошлом году. Она мне очень нравится, и мои друзья считают ее настоящим произведением искусства. В моей комнате также два очень удобных кресла и небольшой стол с проигрывателем и магнитофоном. На полу - толстый ковер, а на окне светло-коричневые шторы. По вечерам я люблю сидеть на тахте и при свете (in the light of) торшера читать какую-нибудь интересную книгу. Я считаю, что моя комната - самая уютная в квартире. В моей квартире все современные удобства: газ, электричество, холодная и горячая вода, центральное отопление, мусоропровод. Кухня в моей квартире довольно маленькая, но очень светлая и удобная. В кухне удобная плита. Рядом с ней - шкаф для посуды, где сестра хранит тарелки, чашки, стаканы и другие вещи.
