Лондонский Глаз имеет 32 полностью кондиционируемых и закрытых кабинок-капсул предназначенных для пассажиров, которые выполнены в форме яйца. Капсулы символизируют 32 пригорода столицы. Каждая капсула вес которой составляет 10-тонн может принять максимум 25 пассажиров.
Колесо крутится со средней скоростью 26 сантиметров в секунду. Скорость вращения колеса рассчитана таким образом, чтоб один оборот занимал порядка 30 минут. Во время движения колеса скорость незначительная, что позволяет пассажирам свободно передвигаться по капсуле.
