История потребительских товаров TWDC началась в 1929 году с предложения поместить изображение Микки Мауса на обложках детских альбомов для рисования. С тех пор лицензионный отдел значительно расширил ассортимент продукции, которая присутствует практически во всех категориях потребительских товаров.


Двери первого парка Disney распахнулись 17 июля 1955 года.
