В конце года Фабиан вышел из своей мастерской и обошел с визитами всех тех, кто был ему должен монеты. У некоторых из них оказалось больше монет, чем они одалживали у Фабиана, но это означало, что у кого-то их было меньше, потому что в самом начале было изготовлено определенное количество монет. Те, у кого оказалось больше монет, чем они занимали, вернули сумму долга и сверх нее – условленные 5 монет на каждые 100 монет долга. Но, всё равно, вернув долг и проценты, они были вынуждены сразу же снова просить деньги в долг, чтобы продолжать свою деятельность в новой системе.
