Да у меня было сочувствие к Джорджу при чтении рассказа,но ненавидеть своего брата и желать ему зла только из-за разницы в финансах неправильно.Также я считаю неправильным,что Джордж на протяжении всей жизни трудился как проклятый и ему почти ничего не досталось,в то время как Том вёл разгульный образ жизни и нигде не работал и только и делал,что занимал деньги у друзей и родных,а потом поженился на старухе,которая в скоре умерла оставив ему целое состояние в итоге зажил ещё лучше,чем прежде.Эта история должна была кончиться иначе:Том должен был быть на самом дне,а у Джорджа должно было быть всё чего он хотел для счастливой жизни.Но получилось наоборот.Мне конечно жаль Джорджа,но из-за своей ненависти к брату он стал ещё хуже,чем Том и поэтому я разочарован в Джордже,но и Том меня не впечатлил,а вызвал лишь жалость и отвращение.Меня эта история заставила задуматься о том,что не стоит полностью погружаться в работу напрочь забывая о личной жизни,но и не нужно постоянно гулять так как Том.Потому что есть риск,что ты можешь прогулять всю жизнь,ничего не добиться и стать никем.
