Одной из таких легенд оказался снятый в начале 80-х годов «Амадей».
Сюжет. XIX век. Постаревший Антонио Сальери совершает попытку самоубийства, но выживает. Посланный к нему священник пытается добиться от Сальери исповеди, во время которого Антонио делится воспоминаниями о своей жизни, но, прежде всего, воспоминаниями о своей зависти и ненависти к самому талантливому композитору конца XVIII Вольфгангу Амадею Моцарту.
Игра актеров. Актеры исполнили свои роли просто бесподобно. Милош Форман, я заметил, глубокий психолог, так как ему удается воплотить на экране страдания героев в таком ракурсе, в котором они заслуживают быть. Страдания Моцарта по поводу смерти отца подпитываются еще и внезапным появлением загадочного человека в маске, сводя композитора с ума.
«Амадей» — очень красивая кинокартина. С трудом верится, что она вышла на экраны в 1984 году: настолько качественны съёмки, настолько свежо и живо смотрится произведение чешского и американского режиссёра Милоша Формана. Этот трёхчасовой фильм, оторваться от которого невозможно. . Картина создана под впечатлением от трагедии Александра Сергеевича Пушкина «Моцарт и Сальери», а также одноимённой оперы Николая Андреевича Римского-Корсакова. Именно в этих творениях Сальери представлен врагом Моцарта, убившим великого композитора. о «Амадей» — блестящее кино, сопровождающееся бессмертными произведениями гениального Моцарта. Музыка, тонкая игра актёров, реалистичные декорации, продуманные реплики персонажей — всё это вкупе рождает истинный, глубокий шедевр о природе таланта и посредственности, о непримиримой борьбе между этими двумя полярностями.
