Our University was earlier a Teache

Our University was earlier a Teachers Training Institute and it was founded in 1938 (nineteen thirty eight). It became a university in 1972 (nineteen seventy two). In 2002 (two thousand and two) year our university celebrated its 30 years. Now it has eleven faculties with many specialties and an Institute of General Philology.
There are two departments at our University: a full-time department, part-time department and extra mural one. Besides we have preparatory courses which help young people to enter the university.
Full-time students study at various faculties: philological, historical, medical, agrarian, physical and mechanic-mathematical, geographical, biological and the faculties of economics, low and foreign languages.
Extra mural students acquire higher education combining it with their work.
They have classes and examination periods twice a year in winter and in summer. Students attend lectures, seminars and practical classes. Those who pass the exams successfully get a scholarship. The students of the university can do any sport, any recreational activity. A lot of students carry out research work in various laboratories which are equipped with up-to-date devices. Every student has to pass many tests and exams and finally he presents his thesis and receives his diploma. Our University provides postgraduate studies in different branches of science.
Every year hundreds of young specialists begin working in different branches of national economy, science, education, in mass media, prosecutor`s offices and courts.
I`m a second year student of the economical faculty. It was founded in 1975 (nineteen seventy five). Our faculty has many chairs: tax and taxation, accounting, economical theory and others.
I like to study at the university. We study different subjects as Management, History, Marketing, Macroeconomics, Microeconomics, Money and Banking, Statistics, Computer science, Accountancy, Taxation, Philosophy, Foreign languages.
It is a difficult to study at the University but it is interesting at the same time. Besides I really want to become a good accountant and I hope I shall manage it.
