С первых встреч лидеров стран БРИК

С первых встреч лидеров стран БРИК сторонам удавалось согласовывать общие позиции по вопросам международной безопасности. По итогам первых двух саммитов 2009– 2010 гг. стороны сошлись в общих позициях по ведущей роли ООН в мире и проблеме терроризма. В 2011 г. стороны договорились о необходимости мирного решения ливийского вопроса, в 2012 г. – поддержали международные обязательства по Афганистану, выступили с едиными позициями по ситуации в ЦАР и ДРК. В 2013 г. в Дурбане все стороны выразили озабоченность нестабильностью в Северной Африке и сошлись в позициях по ближневосточному урегулированию. По итогам саммита 2014 г. государства БРИКС выразили общую озабоченность ситуацией в Южном Судане и на Украине.
