Шла вторая мировая война. Среди грозных событий тех дней три, особенно таинственные, остались неизвестными или не привлекли особого внимания.
Первое произошло во Франции.
16 мая 1940 года, когда фашистские войска рвались к Парижу, два французских ученых из лаборатории Жолио-Кюри пробирались на юг Франции. Они везли в запаянных контейнерах 185 килограммов воды. В Бордо ее погрузили на английский пароход «Брампарк».
