Ген ndb2 длиной 1749 п.н. выделен из суммарной матричной РНК Arabidopsis thaliana с помощью ОТ-ПЦР. Данный ген клонирован в плазмиду pBI121. На основе плазмиды pBI121 создана векторная конструкция pBI121_NDB2, содержащая ген ndb2 под контролем 35S CaMV промотора. Показана эффективность pBI121_NDB2 для трансформации, экспериментально подтверждены факты интеграции гена ndb2 в геноме табака, выделены линии табака, экспрессирующие целевой ген ndb2.
