В 1987 г., в городском онкологическом диспансере меня прооперировали. Удалили грудь. Химиотерапии и облучения не назначали, так как стадия была «нулевая». А через два года удалили метастазы по позвоночнику. я попала в отделение химиотерапии к профессору Э.А. Жавриду, где лечилась в течение года, а это – 6 курсов химиотерапии и лучевая терапия. В перерывах – операция по удалению яичников.

У меня появилось много времени для того, чтобы попытаться осмыслить свою жизнь. Но психологическое состояние оставляло желать лучшего. Я была морально раздавлена, убита. В голове мысли: вот она смерть – рядом, дышит в затылок, а я еще не жила, ребенок у меня мал, я его еще не вырастила.
