Происшествие с Boeing 737 над Кахулуи — авиапроисшествие, произошедшее 28 апреля 1988 года. Авиалайнер Boeing 737-297 авиакомпании Aloha Airlines выполнял внутренний рейс AQ 243 по маршруту Остров Гавайи—Гонолулу, а на его борту находились 6 членов экипажа и 89 пассажиров. Но через 23 минуты после взлёта у самолёта внезапно сорвало значительную часть конструкции фюзеляжа в носовой части, в результате чего пассажиры и стюардессы подверглись действию набегающего потока воздуха и кислородному голоданию, а одна из стюардесс погибла. Пилоты благополучно посадили самолёт в аэропорту Кахулуи острова Мауи. Выжило 94 человека, 65 из них получили ранения.
Расследованием причин аварии рейса AQ 243 занялся Национальный совет по безопасности на транспорте (NTSB).
Согласно отчёту, причинами аварии стали:
• коррозия металла,
• плохая эпоксидная связка частей фюзеляжа,
• усталость заклёпок,
• повреждения металла фюзеляжа (из-за множества циклов «взлёт-посадка»;
самолёт совершал только короткие рейсы)

Катастрофа A310 под Междуреченском — авиационная катастрофа, произошедшая 23 марта 1994 года. Авиалайнер Airbus A310-308 авиакомпании «Аэрофлот» совершал рейс SU593 по маршруту Москва—Гонконг, но через 4 часа и 19 минут после взлёта рухнул в лес под Междуреченском в Кемеровской области и полностью разрушился. Погибли все находившиеся на его борту 75 человек — 63 пассажира и 12 членов экипажа.
Главной причиной катастрофы стала недопустимая ситуация, при которой командир экипажа посадил за штурвал самолёта своего 15-летнего сына, чьи непредумышленные действия привели к отключению автопилота. Второстепенными причинами катастрофы стали недокументированное поведение автопилота самолёта Airbus A310 и отсутствие на тот момент в программе подготовки экипажа правил принятия решений в подобных ситуациях.
Поисково-спасательные работы на месте катастрофы велись довольно долго: останки пассажиров и обломки самолёта оказались разбросанными в радиусе 2 километров. Позже найденные части самолёта перевезли в ангар авиационного предприятия аэропорта Новокузнецка, где их крепили к каркасу согласно форме самолёта.
Расследованием причин катастрофы рейса SU593 занялся Межгосударственный авиационный комитет (МАК) при участии представителей авиакомпании «Аэрофлот» и компании «Airbus». Оба бортовых самописца, найденные на месте катастрофы, обгорели и деформировались, но информация на них сохранилась. Их расшифровывали во Франции в присутствии экспертов МАК.
