В курсовой работе были использованы следующие методы: теоретико-аналитический (анализ методической литературы), общедидактический (анализ программ, учебной литературы), системный подход (педагогическое проектирование и моделирование).
Теоретическая значимость исследования состоит в том, что:
- уточнен термин «социокультурная компетенция»;
- охарактеризована сущность понятия «социокультурная компетенция»;
- выявлены принципы формирования социокультурной компетенции при обучении чтению на английском языке у школьников средних классов;
- выявлена специфика социокультурной компетенции при обучении
чтению на английском языке.
Практическая значимость исследования состоит в разработке методической модели формирования социокультурной компетенции при обучении чтению на английском языке, которая включает в себя комплекс упражнений и заданий.
Структура курсовой работы состоит из введения, двух глав, заключения и списка использованной литературы.
