Конкуренция между автопроизводителями на американском рынке все больше переходит в область борьбы за качество. Сильнее других пострадала от скандалов, связанных с проблемной продукцией, корпорация Ford Motor. Теперь она готова бросить вызов в области качества продукции безусловному лидеру – Toyota Motor.
Жалобы на недостатки двух моделей корпорации Ford Motor (Ford Explorer и Ford Focus) стали одной из причин неудачных показателей Ford в течение двух предыдущих лет и отбросили эту корпорацию на последнее место, посвященное качеству продукции семи крупнейших мировых автомобилестроителей.
