ATLANTIC CONSERVATORY PROGRAM APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS



AUDITION/ INTERVIEW:



Prepare a 1-2 minute contemporary monologue from a stage play or screen play that you have read in its entirety. Auditions are by appointment only and held in person or via Skype for outside of the NY area.



Please read the attached chapter on the Atlantic script analysis technique from A Practical Handbook for the Actor to discuss during your audition/ interview.



ADDITIONAL APPLCATION REQUIREMENTS



* These requirements can be given to admissions before or after your audition.



Gather 2 letters of recommendation from teachers, colleagues, employers, professionals who can attest to your work ethic, talent, and dedication to your craft



In honoring the Atlantic creed, “create your own work!” write a 500 word essay/ artist statement about the work that you desire to create as a theatre artist and how the Practical Aesthetics philosophy fits into your vision.
