After three years of study university graduates leave with the degree of bachlor of arts, science, engineering, medicine, etc.6. After that, you can continue to be a big master and then a doctor. 7. Research is an important feature of University work. 8. During late sixties, the government set up thirty polytechnics. 9. The polytechnics offer first and higher degrees. Some people provide enough time and sandwich courses. 10. College of education provides two-year courses in teacher education. 11. Some of those who decide to leave school at the age of 16 may go to a further education college where they can follow a course in typing, engineering, town planning, cooking or hairdressing, full-time or part-time. 12. Further education colleges have strong ties with commerce and industry. 13. There is an interesting form of studies which is called the open university. People study in their own free time and attend "lectures by watching TV and listening to the radio. 14. They keep in touch by phone and letter with their tutors and attend summer schools. 15. The open university students have no formal qualifications and will be unable to enter ordinary universities.<br>
