Первый этап для всех одинаковый: мы создаем «каркас» нашего изделия из обычной фольги для запекания: сферу для головы, «палочки» для рук и ног. Затем делим пластик. Я пользуюсь пластиками двух фирм: Cernit Doll (одна упаковка делится на трех учеников) или Super Skulpey Living Doll (одна упаковка делится на двух учеников). Разминаем пластик руками, лепим лепешку примерно 4 мм толщиной и покрываем ей уже готовый каркас из фольги. «Выглаживаем» внутренней стороной ладони получившуюся конструкцию. Затем лепим шею и намечаем инструментом место для крепления к будущему телу. Инструменты я использую маникюрные и стоматологические. Раздаю их ученикам. Они не острые. Далее при помощи «модульной» технологии (это шарики пластика, которые мы катаем вручную и из них составляем «мордочку» куклы) создаем личико, потом для каждого на доске я рисую «план» работы с конкретной куклой. Каждому помогаю и показываю как с чем работать. После мы лепим ножки (для всех одинаковые) и лапки (с каждым индивидуально). Запекаем 15 минут получившиеся детали в печке (я приношу обычно с собой аэрогриль, он отлично подходит).
