Он живёт в России 2,5 года, сейчас у него уже достаточный словарный запас (на русском). Но он не учит правила, то есть он говорит просто последовательность слов=) Конечно это можно понять, но это всегда смешно=) Я уже привыкла и знаю какие слова он знает по-русски, и я тоже говорю их по-русски для него, он понимает. И даже запоминают правильную форму слов иногда=) Но мы разговариваем по-английски тоже, когда какая-то важная ситуация и нельзя понять неправильно
