старинные часы - всегда ценилось, но те, что украшали здание лондонского вокзала Сент-Панкрас, не знают себе равных. им почти 200 лет, вес - две тонны, ажурное украшение циферблата.
Тридцать с лишним лет назад здание вокзала находилось в аварийном состоянии. Часы из предосторожности демонтировали и отдали на хранение железнодорожнику Роланду Хаггарду, который спрятал раритет в собственном сарае, где выйдя на пенсию, престарелый железнодорожник занимался реставрацией реликвии. Часы Сент-Панкраса уже в полном порядке. Они идут точно и украшают сарай на ферме Хаггарда.в скором времени реликвия будет перевезена в железнодорожный музей города Баттерли.
